AVALON: MENTORIN TONICA HUNTER
Tonica Hunter (she/her) is an researcher, curator and DJ, based in vienna.
She workswith a focus on discourse, music/performance and visual arts.
Tonica has (co)-founded and curated for various collectives and projects in Vienna which center otherwise marginalised artists and use the arts to raise socialpolitical spaces whilst contributing to conversations on inclusion, intersectionality and access to the cultural sector in Austria.
Since 2021, she sits on the Beirat for Frauendomäne as an expert for Arts and Culture and on the Beirat für Kulturinitiativen des Bundesministeriums für Kunst & Kultur.
As of October of this year, Tonica will begin to lecture a new course (@ars_sciendi) at the university of applied arts (angewandte) in the department for arts and science.

Avalon ist ein Erasmus+ Projekt, das Fremde werden Freunde gemeinsam mit dem Bratislava Policy Institute durchführt.
